Straight answers about our 1-year worldwide license, what’s included, and when a commercial upgrade is needed.
Why do I need a license to use music in my performance?
Music is intellectual property. Public use at competitions, shows, or online requires permission from the rights holder. Our license grants you that permission for your chosen track and use cases.
What does the Standard License cover?
Term: 1 year from purchase · Territory: Worldwide · Type: Non-exclusive, non-transferable, for one performer.
Permitted uses: competitions, exhibitions, rehearsals, live shows; syncing recordings of your performance for personal/club publishing; non-commercial posts on YouTube/Instagram/TikTok, etc.
Is my license exclusive?
No. The license isn’t exclusive. But every track is unique and custom-made for performance — not generic stock.
Can I post my performance on social media?
Yes — non-commercial posts are allowed under the Standard License. Videos created while the license is valid may remain online permanently. For paid placements/boosting or ads, request a commercial upgrade.
What’s not allowed?
No resale, re-licensing, sharing, or distribution of the isolated audio. No claiming authorship of the composition/production. No use in paid ads, TV/radio/OTT, film/series, or other paid media without a commercial upgrade (request via the Contact page).
How much is the license?
DKK 300 (≈ $45) per track. You’ll get instant download and a license PDF via email after checkout.
Can my coach/choreographer/club hold a copy?
Yes — strictly to support the licensed performer’s training and performance. The license itself covers one individual performer.
What do federations or venues expect?
You’ll receive a receipt and license PDF to show if requested. Local PROs/venue rules (e.g., KODA/ASCAP/BMI) may also apply — please follow your event’s requirements.
How do renewals work?
Renew anytime for DKK 300 (≈ $45) per additional year. The new 12-month term starts on the renewal purchase date.
I need advertising/broadcast/film rights. What should I do?
Those uses require a commercial license. Tell us about your project and territory via the Contact page, and we’ll quote an upgrade.
What do I receive after purchase?
Instant download of the audio file(s) and an automatically generated receipt + license PDF sent to your email. Keep them for event check-in or federation requests.
Refunds?
Because licenses are delivered instantly with the file download, purchases are typically non-refundable. If you have a technical issue with a file, contact us and we’ll help.
